Personal SWOT Analysis Worksheet (Assignment 4)

For this assignment that we did in class was to better understand ourselves in regards of our strengths and weaknesses and how these traits of ours will benefit us or be a threat to us. With this knowledge and in-depth understanding of our capabilities, I think we can make use of it to our advantage by micromanaging our own acts to constantly improve ourselves. No limit is set for us and we can always make a breakthrough depending on our own willingness. Our own limit is ourselves.

Here is a copy of my own SWOT analysis of myself. Pardon my horrendous hand writing as I was rushing to finish this before class ends.

My strengths that I've written here are:

  • Event Planning

  • Event Management

  • Event Design

  • PR work

  • Communication Skills

  • Organizing & Preparing a Press Conference

  • Assertive, strong willed, passionate and goal-oriented

  • Often perceived as societal, friendly and funny.

  • Good with people, good in taking and speaking in various situations as a PR

  • Think on my feet

Weakness:

  • Stubborness

  • Too straight forward

  • May seem as a cold or hard to approach

  • Procrastination

Opportunities:

  • Meeting new people and network with important roles from the industry.

  • Learn how to negotiate well

  • Able to learn the art of persuasion and applying it

  • Get to enjoy the privileges such as attending social events, music shows, concerts for free.

Threats:

  • One wrong move or mistake will ruin individual's image.'

  • Risk of losing prospects/clients once mistake is made.

  • The stress of representing the company I work for and and the clients too.

The SWOT Analysis of being a rock star was done as a group activity to fully grasp the concept before heading on to do a personal SWOT analysis.
